Continuation of my walks about with a camera in hand. Picture hunting, if you will. Of course, the term ‘Old City’ is heavy with irony, but the addition of ‘New World’ adds to it some justification. I do understand that in the Old World a hundred sixty odd years is an age of a baby, young teenager at best.
In New Westminster, December brings a lot with very foggy days and some time it combines the fog coming down from the slopes of mountains with the heavy fog flowing with the Fraser River from the valley.
An evening stroll through the main street , with the X-massy decorations combined with the New Year could be very charming. Romantic or magical. That’s how I was saying goodbye to the old year.

Powyżej zdjęcia z ostatniego w Starym Roku spaceru po starym mieście, otulonym opończą mgły i świątecznych neonów. Naturalnie, w Europie ta nazwa ‘stare miasto’ by była kompletnie niestosowna, LOL. Ale w Nowym Świecie sto sześćdziesiąt lat z okładem, to rawie antyk, LOL.
Poniżej zaś już przywitanie Nowego Roku w młodszym mieście – w Vancouverze.
The next day a stroll welcoming 2026 in younger city – Vancouver. And it does look splendidly at night time with all the lights and noise of modern metropolis.
